The practical and easy way to be on the go
Normal pain such as headache, back pain, joint pain and muscle pain can occur anywhere. Aspirin Effect is a painkiller granule that can be taken without water. The individual items make it particularly practical when you're on the move.

Fast effect
As with conventional painkillers, Aspirin Effect 500 mg also contains acetylsalicylic acid as the active ingredient. The granules dissolve in the mouth without water. The active ingredient can be quickly absorbed into the blood through the stomach and intestines.

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Type of application?
Allow the granules to melt in your mouth or swallow them. To do this, put it directly into your mouth on your tongue. It dissolves in saliva and can then be swallowed. If desired, you can drink some liquid. Do not take on an empty stomach.

Duration of use?
You should not use the medicine for longer than 3-4 days without medical advice.

Overdose?
Dizziness and ringing in the ears can be signs of serious poisoning, especially in children and elderly patients. Other overdose symptoms include rapid breathing, nausea, vomiting, visual and hearing impairment, headaches and confusion. Contact your doctor immediately.

Forgot to take it?
Continue taking the medication as normal (i.e. not double the amount) at the next prescribed time.

In general, pay attention to careful dosage, especially for infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautions.

The dosage prescribed by the doctor may differ from the information in the package insert. Since the doctor tailors it to you individually, you should use the medicine according to his instructions.

What should you consider?
  • In children and adolescents with feverish illnesses, the medicine may only be given on medical instructions. It can cause a condition called Reye's syndrome, a rare but life-threatening condition that causes prolonged vomiting.
  • Caution: Patients with nasal polyps, chronic respiratory infections, asthma or with a tendency to allergic reactions such as hay fever: The medicine can trigger an asthma attack or a strong allergic skin reaction. Therefor consult your doctor before usage.
  • If you use painkillers long-term, you may experience headaches caused by the painkiller. Talk to your doctor to prevent your headache from becoming chronic.
  • Before an operation - this also includes minor procedures such as pulling a tooth - tell you to take the medicine, as the bleeding time may be prolonged.
  • Be careful if you are allergic to painkillers!
  • Be careful if you are allergic to ascorbic acid (vitamin C)!
  • Be careful if you are allergic to the sweetener aspartame (EU number E 951)!
  • In the case of the metabolic disease phenylketonuria, the drug must not be used because it contains phenylalanine as an ingredient.
  • There may be drugs with which interactions occur. You should therefore generally tell your doctor or pharmacist before starting treatment with a new medicine that you are already using. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.
  • Alcohol should be avoided as far as possible during long-term treatment. Occasional alcohol consumption in small amounts is allowed, but not with the drug.

Ingredients Aspirin Effect Granules:
Acetylsalicylic acid - 500 mg

Application:
For mild to moderate pain, fever

Dosage:
Adult:
  • If necessary, take 1-2 sachets of granules (500-1000 mg acetylsalicylic acid)
  • If necessary, take up to 3 times daily at 4-8 hour intervals
  • In the case of liver or kidney disorders, the dose must be reduced or the interval between doses increased.

Way:
Pour directly into the mouth onto the tongue
  • The granules dissolve in saliva and can then be swallowed.
  • Then drink enough fluids
  • Do not take on an empty stomach

Contrause:

Hypersensitivity reactions can occur to all medicines and you must stop taking the medicine immediately. If an allergy to the active ingredient or one of the other ingredients of the medicine is known, it must not be used.

The medicine must not be taken if:
  • Stomach and intestinal ulcers
  • Pathologically increased bleeding tendency

The medicine should not be taken or should only be taken under medical supervision if:
  • Hypersensitivity to other anti-inflammatory drugs, painkillers and rheumatism medications
  • Simultaneous intake of anticoagulant medications
  • asthma
  • Chronic or recurring stomach or duodenal problems
  • Pre-damaged kidney
  • Severe liver dysfunction
  • Children and adolescents with fever
  • Be careful with elevated uric acid levels. Even in small amounts, the drug reduces uric acid excretion and can therefore potentially trigger a gout attack.

Side effects:
In the case of asthma, hay fever, swelling of the nasal mucous membranes (nasal polyps) or chronic respiratory infections (especially coupled with hay fever) and in case of hypersensitivity to painkillers and rheumatism medications of all kinds, shortness of breath is more common when taking medicines containing acetylsalicylic acid. In this case, you should consult your doctor before taking it.
  • Allergic reactions (e.g. skin reactions, itching or hives)
  • Gastrointestinal complaints (e.g. nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain)
  • Headache, dizziness
  • Gastrointestinal ulcers
  • Iron deficiency/anemia

Patient information:
Acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) should not be taken for longer than 3-4 days or in larger quantities without medical or dental instructions.

Pregnancy:
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should only take medication after consulting your doctor or pharmacist!
  • Since the influence of the medication on pregnancy is unclear, the medication should not be taken in the 1st and 2nd trimester of pregnancy.
  • The medicine must not be taken in the last trimester of pregnancy.
  • In the last trimester of pregnancy, taking the drug can prolong the pregnancy and stop labor. An increased bleeding tendency has been observed in both mother and child. If the drug is taken shortly before birth, bleeding into the cranial cavity may occur, especially in premature babies. A certain heart defect (Ductus arteriosus botalli) can occur in the unborn child.
  • Small amounts of acetylcysteine ​​pass into breast milk.
  • Since there are no known adverse effects on the infant, discontinuing breastfeeding will not be necessary if the recommended amount is taken for a short period of time.
  • Long-term intake of larger amounts should be discontinued.

Miscellaneous:
If taken before operations, the doctor or dentist must be informed.
  • Dizziness and ringing in the ears can be signs of an overdose, especially in children and the elderly. In these cases, the doctor should be notified.
  • Long-term use of painkillers, especially when taking several painkillers at the same time, can lead to permanent kidney damage with the risk of kidney failure.
  • If the recommended intake amounts are exceeded, liver values ​​may increase. Therefore, regular monitoring of liver values ​​is necessary, especially in children.
