ASS STADA® 100 mg gastro-resistant tablets

For the prevention of myocardial infarction and stroke in pre-stressed patients. Stomach-friendly formulation

ASS STADA 100 mg are enteric-coated tablets to prevent the formation of blood clots (platelet aggregation inhibition).

They contain 100 mg of acetylsalicylic acid. The round biconvex tablets have a diameter of 7.1 mm.

For use: - for the secondary prevention of myocardial infarction, - for the prevention of cardiovascular morbidity in patients suffering from stable angina, - for a history of unstable angina, except during the acute phase, - for the prevention of post-coronary artery graft occlusion- Bypass grafting (CABG), - in coronary angioplasty, except during the acute phase, - for secondary prevention of transient ischemic attacks (TIA) and ischemic cerebral infarction, provided cerebral hemorrhage has been excluded. ASS STADA is not suitable for emergency situations. It is limited to secondary prevention to treat chronic diseases. Taking it is easy: take the tablets whole and with enough liquid. Because of the enteric coating, the tablets should not be crushed, broken or chewed as the tablet coating prevents irritation to the stomach. The usual dose for long-term treatment is 100 mg once a day. Please note that ASS Stada must not be used in higher doses without a doctor's instructions and the highest prescribed dose must not exceed 300 mg. ASS STADA is also available in packs of 50 tablets.
