Epi-Pevaryl Cream -

Epi-Pevaryl 1% cream is a fungicidal medicine for the external treatment of fungal diseases of the skin (antimycotic).

Particularly suitable for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin. In addition, as an adjunctive treatment for fungal diseases in connection with steroid and antibiotic therapy

Epi-Pevaryl – the skin fungus therapy

Epi-Pevaryl ^® is effective against fungal infestation of the skin. Treatment of skin mycoses, eg tinea pedis, pityriasis versicolor. Also for fungal infections that occur during antibiotic treatment or steroid therapy. For infants, children and adults.

Itchy and scaly skin on a small part of the body – it starts out so harmlessly, bran psoriasis. However, it can also spread over the entire back, head or chest. This ringworm is just one of many forms of skin fungus infection. This often settles on the foot or in skin folds. Increased sweating and a warm, humid climate favor its spread.

Rapid treatment with Epi-Pevaryl ^® can prevent the spread of skin fungus. The active ingredient econazol attacks the cell structure of the fungus. Epi-Pevaryl Solution and Epi-Pevaryl Cream prevent the cell envelope from conducting nutrients into the core - the fungal pathogen can no longer multiply.

The recommended dose is:
Apply some cream to the diseased skin and the surrounding skin area (approx. 1 to 2 cm) twice a day (morning and evening if possible).

Thoroughly wash and dry affected skin areas before each application. Massage the cream in with your finger until it is absorbed. Wash your hands thoroughly after using the cream (exception: treatment of the hands).

Warnings and Precautions:

Epi-Pevaryl should not be swallowed or get in the eyes.

Do not use Epi-Pevaryl 1% cream at the same time as a diaphragm or a latex condom.

Can be used in pregnant/lactating women as long as a positive benefit-risk assessment has been carried out by the doctor. Children should not come into contact with treated skin, including the mother's breast.
