Effective at the first signs and in all phases of a cold.
The medicine Infludoron® from the traditional company Weleda is used for flu-like infections and feverish colds. The Weleda 6-fold combination preparation contains extracts from five medicinal plants and Ferrum phosphoricum. The composition is chosen so that the typical cold symptoms, from a runny nose to a cough and fever, can be effectively treated. Infludoron® scatter beads are suitable for the whole family from infancy onwards.
If you take Infludoron® when you first have cold symptoms, you can often prevent or mitigate the onset of the disease. If you have a cold, the Weleda 6-fold combination of monkshood, bryony, eucalyptus, water dost, sabadilla and iron phosphate supports the self-healing powers and reduces the symptoms.
6-fold combination of active ingredients for every phase of a cold
- Monkshood (Aconite): Provides relief from fever and cold-related headaches and body aches
- Eucalyptus: Has a relaxing effect on the respiratory tract and makes nasal breathing easier when you have a cold
- Wasserdost (Eupatorium): Loosens stuck mucus for colds and coughs.
- Bryony (Bryonia): Has a mucosal decongestant effect in the respiratory tract.
- Lice seeds (Sabadilla): Reduces runny nose and tones the vessels.
- Iron phosphate (Ferrum phosphoricum): Supports the self-healing powers and regulates the heat organism.
How does a cold work?
Attention should be paid at the first signs, such as a scratchy or sore throat, stuffy or runny nose, fatigue and accompanying headaches and body aches. These symptoms usually indicate the onset of a cold. The duration and course of a cold are very individual. The symptoms associated with a cold also vary. The upper respiratory tract is often affected by the disease, which is usually caused by viruses: cough, runny nose, sore throat or hoarseness are the result, but cold-related headaches and body aches can also occur. In addition, a cold can occur with or without fever. As a rule, the symptoms should improve after a week and practically disappear after a good two weeks. If complications arise, the recovery period is significantly extended and a medical examination is required. Infludoron® scatter beads can be used at any stage of a cold.
Catch a Cold - How to help your body recover
1. Drink enough: If you have a fever, you often sweat more. Your body now needs more fluids. In addition, fluid intake makes it easier to liquefy secretions and thus expel them.
2. Warm feet: When we have a cold, our heat balance is out of rhythm. Warm socks or a warm foot bath are particularly good for us now.
3. Heating air dries out the mucous membranes: regular ventilation or a humidifier ensure a pleasant room climate. Steam inhalation also helps to moisten irritated mucous membranes.
4. Now eat primarily easily digestible and wholesome food such as fruit, vegetables and carbohydrates.
5. Bed rest should be observed if there is a fever. If the fever lasts longer than 3 days and exceeds 39 °C, a doctor should be consulted.
Weleda Plant Science: The Blue Monkshood
The blue monkshood belongs to the buttercup family. It grows primarily in the mountainous regions of Western and Central Europe. The flowering perennials develop most beautifully in the full and intense sun at higher altitudes. But be careful: its lovely appearance does not necessarily mean that it is highly poisonous. But when correctly processed pharmaceutically, it becomes an effective medicinal plant for Weleda® medicines.
One of the most important indications for blue monkshood is colds. In potentized form it is effective for feverish colds and relieves headaches and body aches.
A notice:
If you have a fever that lasts longer than 3 days or rises above 39 °C, as well as if you have persistent, unclear or new symptoms, you should consult a doctor, as these may be illnesses that require medical clarification.
