Application
The lanolin ointment should after each breastfeeding and can also be used as needed: Squeeze a pea-sized amount of nipple ointment out of the tube and warm it between your fingers. The ointment, which has become smooth, is carefully applied to the nipples and the entire areola. A little lanolin can also be added to the nursing pad. The best care is achieved when the nipple is covered with lanolin cream the entire time between feedings. Lansinoh® HPA® Lanolin should be stored at room temperature. The warmer the tube, the easier it is to apply the product. HPA® Lanolin Cream can also be applied before showering or bathing as protection.

In the event of a possible yeast infection (thrush with the fungus Candida albicans) or a bacterial infection of the nipple, the sole use of HPA® Lanolin ointment is not sufficient. In these cases, please be sure to ask a midwife, lactation consultant or doctor for advice.
