LIVOCAB Direct Eye Drops 4ml
In the case of an allergy, the immune system reacts defensively to harmless substances that are foreign to the body, such as pollen or animal allergens, if these come into contact with the mucous membrane of the eyes. The body releases a messenger substance, the so-called histamine, which causes the allergic reaction. This defense reaction manifests itself in allergy sufferers in the form of painful allergy symptoms, such as allergic conjunctivitis. The active ingredient levocabastine contained directly in Livocab blocks the specific binding sites for histamine and thus inhibits the development of allergy symptoms.
The advantages of Livocab direct eye drops at a glance
Livocab direct eye drops provide local relief from the symptoms in the eyes, right where the allergy originates. Livocab direct works quickly, usually in just 10-15 minutes for acute allergy symptoms. In addition, Livocab can be used extensively, e.g. B. for hay fever, house dust mite and animal allergies. Livocab direct relieves allergic symptoms from the very first application and, when applied twice a day, ensures long-lasting symptom relief for up to 24 hours. In addition, Livocab is well tolerated: it is suitable for children from the age of one and can be used for an unlimited period.

mode of action:
How does the ingredient of the medicine work?
If allergy-causing substances, such as pollen, come into contact with the eyes or nose, the body's own messenger histamine is released on the mucous membranes of the eyes and nose and they become inflamed. The active ingredient prevents this allergic reaction by keeping histamine away from the mucous membranes. In this way, the active ingredient quickly combats the unpleasant allergic symptoms in the eyes and nose, such as itching, reddening, swelling or sneezing.
