Manganese contributes to the normal formation of connective tissue. Copper contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissue. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal function of cartilage and bones. Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) as well as zinc, selenium, copper and manganese contribute to protecting cells from oxidative stress. Magnesium and zinc contribute to normal protein synthesis.
With collagen hydrolyzate, enzymes (bromelain, papain) and omega-3 fatty acids. The omega-3 fatty acids that are found in abundance in fish oil include EPA and DHA. These are polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are, among other things, components of cell membranes.
