SIDROGA bladder and kidney flushing tea

First aid for cystitis

Every year, around 8 million people in Germany suffer from inflammation of the lower urinary tract, in most cases caused by bacteria from the intestines. A weakened immune system increases the likelihood of illness, as do the different anatomical relationships between women and men. Sidroga ® bladder and kidney flushing tea is a traditional, herbal medicine for flushing out the urinary tract.

With its purely herbal composition of the leaves of birch and orthosiphon as well as goldenrod, the medicinal tea can support the treatment of minor urinary tract problems such as cystitis and reduce the buildup of kidney grit.

Herbal medicinal tea

The healing power of tea has been known for thousands of years to effectively treat many ailments. Based on proven medicinal herbalism in combination with the latest findings in modern phytotherapy, Sidroga ® develops natural medicinal teas with healing effects.

The carefully compiled tea blends consist of selected medicinal plants from the most controlled integrated cultivation (KIA), which are sealed with effective aroma protection bags.

Adults drink a cup of Sidroga ® bladder and kidney flushing tea 3 to 4 times a day. To do this, pour 150 ml of boiling water over 1 filter bag of bladder and kidney flushing tea, let it steep for 15 minutes, squeeze out the bag slightly and remove it.

During the entire period of using the medicinal tea, you should also ensure that you drink plenty of fluids. Sidroga ® bladder and kidney flushing tea is not suitable for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Flushing therapy can help flush out inflammation-causing germs as well as semolina and kidney stone-forming metabolic products from the body. A daily fluid intake of 2 to 3 liters and the use of diuretic medications are recommended for this therapy.

The quality standards of Sidroga ® It starts with sowing the medicinal plants: Controlled-integrated cultivation (KIA) is used as much as possible and the highest value is placed on seeds that have been tested and selected with particular care. As well as the perfect time to harvest, when the plants have the highest active ingredient content.

Medicinal teas are always precisely tested and are subject to strict legal guidelines and quality standards, which are set out in the European Pharmacopoeia, among others. Only a tea that meets the strict official quality requirements may be sold as a medicinal tea.

Aren't loose teas of better quality than tea bags?

No, it's always what's in the tea bag that counts. The so-called fine cut is deliberately used for Sidroga ® medicinal teas. The medicinal plant is cut in many different places and thus optimally releases the active ingredients into the tea water. Similar to tablets or dragees, the filter bag is only the encapsulation of the active ingredients.

Is KiA the same as organic farming?

No, there are differences. In ecological organic farming, the main focus is on avoiding chemical-synthetic pesticides and nitrogen fertilizers. In controlled integrated cultivation (KiA), individual agreements are made with contractual partners and quality criteria are defined for cultivation and further processing. For example, only specially selected and tested seed is used and a specific crop rotation plan is adhered to.

Why does Sidroga tea have to steep for so long?

The brewing time of a medicinal tea depends on the speed at which the active ingredients in the medicinal plant are transferred into the tea water. For most medicinal teas, this is 10 to 15 minutes. Since the tea is scalded with boiling water, it then has exactly the right drinking temperature.

Can the Bladder Kidney Rinse Tea be used permanently?

Sidroga ® Bladder Kidney Rinse Tea is a medicine and should therefore not be used continuously without a doctor's orders. As part of self-medication, the medicinal tea should not be taken for longer than 14 days. If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, worsen or recur periodically, please consult your doctor.
