Application

Sterillium® is suitable for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection. Sterillium is used as a ready-to-use alcoholic liniment - independent of water and sinks - in all hygiene-relevant areas of health care, industry, home dialysis and when traveling to prevent infections.

Sterillium® is a pioneer in the field of alcoholic surgical hand disinfection and offers a high immediate effect and a reliable long-term effect of up to six hours. The product not only feels good on the hands, but even increases skin moisture with regular use.

Properly disinfect hands

For an optimal effect and to ensure that your hands do not have any gaps in the coverage of hygienic hand disinfection, all skin areas should be rubbed with a sufficient amount of hand disinfectant for at least 30 seconds.

Do each of the following in turn (and repeat until the 30 seconds are up – use hand sanitizer again if needed):

1. Rub palms (including wrists) together
2. Rub palms over backs of hands
3. Rub palms together, fingers spread, interlaced
4. Rub outside of fingers on opposite palms with fingers interlaced
5. Rub both thumbs
6. Rub the closed fingertips in the palms

Please note that your hands should be dry before disinfection!

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the pack or the outer packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
