Vomex A ® works with the active ingredient dimenhydrinate against nausea and vomiting. The effect sets in within 30 minutes and lasts up to six hours.
Dimenhydrinate works directly in a part of the brain called the vomiting center. The dimenhydrinate contained in Vomex A ® blocks the histamine receptors in the vomiting center so that signals that trigger nausea and vomiting are not transmitted: the histamine cannot work and the nausea subsides.

Dosage:
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age and over 56 kg body weight: 1 - 2 dragees 1 - 4 times a day (corresponding to 50 - 400 mg dimenhydrinate), but not more than 8 dragees per day (400 mg dimenhydrinate).Children from 6 to 14 years and over 30 kg body weight: 1 tablet (corresponding to 50 - 150 mg dimenhydrinate) 1 - 3 times a day, but not more than 3 tablets (150 mg dimenhydrinate).
