The danger of infection lurks wherever people spend a lot of time barefoot: the fungal spores that cause infection can remain extremely stubborn on the floors of swimming pools and sports halls. But the pathogen can also survive in shoes, towels and socks for several weeks.Amorolfin STADA ® is applied as nail polish. The active ingredient contained is effective against the known fungal nail pathogens.

AMOROLFIN STADA ® – NAIL POLISH FOR THE EXTERNAL TREATMENT OF NAIL FUNGUS DISEASES

HOW AMOROLFIN STADA ® WORKS
The STADA active ingredient amorolfine against nail fungal pathogens penetrates deep into the nail plate and can therefore also treat fungi that are difficult to reach. Amorolfin STADA ® 5% active nail polish is available in packs with 3 ml or 5 ml of active ingredient.RECOMMENDATION FOR USE
Amorolfin STADA ® only needs to be applied once or twice a week.For optimal treatment, the affected area of the nail, including the nail surface, should first be filed down using the included nail file. The nail surface is then cleaned with the alcohol swab provided. Then the nail polish can be applied with the reusable spatula.
The polish dries about 3 minutes after application and is no longer affected by soap and water. Treated hands and feet can therefore be washed as usual. Application of the nail polish should be continued without interruption until the infection has cleared and the healthy nail has grown back. This usually takes 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months for toenails.

How long should Amorolfine STADA ® be applied?
