The light mattifying anti-blemish concentrate helps to remove pimples and blackheads and prevent the appearance of new blemishes. It is suitable for mild to moderate acne and also for medical acne treatment (except for oral isotretionin treatment).
Indication:
During puberty, skin blemishes usually occur, and in many cases pimples and acne-like conditions with inflammation and scarring. It is true that mostly young people are affected by acne, but women and men over the age of 25 are also increasingly suffering from it.Skin blemishes are caused by excessive sebum production (hyperseborrhea), which is predominantly caused by hormones and is reflected in greasy, shiny skin. Due to a keratinization disorder of the sebum follicles (follicular hyperkeratosis), the sebum can no longer drain off, which is why microcomedones form under the skin.
Depending on their condition, these appear whitish or black (“blackheads”). Increased colonization with the bacterium C. acnes can ultimately lead to inflammatory processes and the development of papules and pustules, which often only heal with scarring.
Since blemished skin tends to be particularly sensitive, it needs gentle products that also effectively remove blemishes.

The innovative, natural active ingredient in Cleanance Comedomed is called Comedoclastin™. It is a complex with a special extract from milk thistle and is 25% contained in Cleanance Comedomed.Comedoclastin™ has a comedolytic and sebo-regulating effect. It thus regulates and normalizes the excess production of sebum and inhibits the enlargement of the sebum glands, also as a preventive measure. It also has antibacterial properties.
Due to the high Avène thermal water content (67.5%), the skin is additionally soothed and inflammation alleviated.
The skin is matted, moisturized and pimples and blackheads are treated in a caring and preventive manner.
Apply in the morning and/or evening to the face previously cleaned with Cleanance Cleansing Gel. Cleanance Comedomed can be used alone or in combination with medication for acne treatment (except for oral isotretionin treatment).

The tolerability and effectiveness of Cleanance Comedomed has been scientifically proven in various user studies.Tolerance study:
Open-label, single-center, non-randomized safety study in combination with medical treatments. 62 subjects with mild to moderate acne between the ages of 12 and 35 were included.For a period of 4 weeks, Cleanance Comedomed was applied 2x daily (after absorption of the respective medical treatment).
Result: Excellent skin compatibility.
