LACTULOSE AL Syrup - Gentle help with constipation and promotion of a healthy intestinal flora

Constipation is a common problem: about 30-60% of Germans suffer from it. The technical term is constipation. Constipation often occurs when travelling, when one has to adapt to new eating and lifestyle habits, but also as a result of illness, pregnancy or as a side effect of medication. Chronic constipation is most often caused by a lack of fiber, fluid, and adequate exercise. In the long term, therefore, only a change in lifestyle usually brings improvement.

Laxatives such as Lactulose AL syrup are suitable for getting the intestines going again and making bowel movements easier.

Application recommendation

Lactulose AL syrup has to be dosed differently depending on the area of ​​application. The dosages given here can only serve as a guide and may need to be changed in order to achieve the desired effect. Lactulose AL Syrup is dosed with a measuring cup.

FOR CONSTIPATION

• Adults: 7.5–15 ml Lactulose AL syrup once or twice a day (equivalent to 5–10 g lactulose once or twice a day).

• Children: 4.5–9 ml Lactulose AL syrup once or twice a day (equivalent to 3–6 g lactulose once or twice a day).

Larger doses of Lactulose AL syrup are often required, especially at the beginning of the treatment of constipation. In general, this slightly higher starting dose can be reduced after 3-4 days.

For constipation that cannot be adequately influenced by a high-fiber diet and other general measures, as well as diseases that require easier bowel movements. Prevention and treatment of portacaval encephalopathy (ie disorders of brain function due to chronic liver disease, especially cirrhosis). Contains fructose, galactose and lactose.
