The active ingredient loperamide contained in LINGUMELT ® acute has been used in diarrhea therapy for decades. When normal bowel function is imbalanced and results in diarrhea, loperamide reduces the increased bowel movement and thus stops the acute diarrhea.
Food remains in the intestines longer, allowing the body to reabsorb more fluids, nutrients and electrolytes from food while preventing the risk of dehydration.
Application:
For the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.The recommended dose for treating short-term diarrhea is

- The maximum daily dose must not be exceeded.
- Do not take if you have diarrhea that lasts longer than 2 days.
- Replace fluid losses by drinking more than usual.
