When to use Paracetamol STADA® 500 mg tablets

Treatment with Paracetamol STADA® is suitable for pain such as headaches, body aches, toothaches and menstrual pains, as well as for fever. While the normal body temperature in humans is 36 to 37°C, and temperatures slightly above that are associated with elevated temperature, one speaks of fever from 38°C. As a rule, joint pain or headaches and fatigue occur parallel to the fever in the case of flu-like infections (colds). Paracetamol STADA® 500 mg tablets relieve such pain and reduce fever, and all this with good tolerability.

How Paracetamol STADA® 500 mg tablets work

It is assumed that after taking the Paracetamol STADA® 500 mg tablets, which have been tried and tested for decades, the drug enters the head via the blood-brain barrier and inhibits the formation of messenger substances there, which are of central importance in the development of inflammation and pain. In addition, Paracetamol STADA® blocks the effects of substances that affect the temperature regulation center in the brain. In this way, the medicine relieves pain and fever.

Application

Paracetamol STADA® is dosed depending on size and age. The dosing interval depends on the symptoms present. The minimum span that should be between two intakes is six hours. The maximum daily dose for adults, adolescents over the age of twelve and children over 43 kg is eight tablets. For children up to 12 years of age, the maximum daily dose varies between two and four tablets, depending on age and weight.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the pack or the outer packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
